What a pleasant surprise. We were transferring trains on the Paris Metro, on the way to spend more time people watching at the Eiffel Tower, when we heard beautiful music echoing through the underground passageways. Around the corner, and down a flight of stairs, we stumbled upon a large crowd surrounding a string ensemble, playing beautiful classical music.
