If your visit is timed just right, the Kek Lok Si chanting will blow you away.

On our last day in the UNESCO World Heritage city of George Town, Penang, we headed away from the coast, and up towards the mountains, where the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia is perched. The brightly colored temple features tens of thousands of Buddhas in all shapes and sizes, but most interesting was the Kek Lok Si chanting, a ceremony just beginning as we arrived.. Have a listen.
