It’s Bagpipe Pandemonium during our visit to Edinburgh, Scotland on Day 14.
On our last full day exploring Scotland before taking the Wicked Camper back to London, you’d think that things would be winding down… But beautiful Edinburgh would have no such attitude, and with Festival Season in full bloom, our visit to this awesome city would be nothing less than eventful.
Hello Edinburgh,
As we drove into the beautiful city of Edinburgh, beautiful architecture, much of it UNESCO World Heritage recognized, towered before us… The streets were beginning to close as the early morning festival crowds were already starting to spill over the sidewalks. The mob was a mix of locals, tourists, performers, and salesmen handing flyers for the night’s performances. I sneezed and was handed a flyer for hypnotist that could keep me from sneezing ever again. The man said he was also hypnotized, to hand out the flyers.
Yes, Bagpipe Pandemonium!
the sound of hundreds, (thousands?) of bagpipers was echoing against the old city’s stone buildings, and we inched our way through the crowd. We turned a final corner and found the source, literally blown away by countless bagpipers playing at once, a spectacle not soon forgotten…
By the way, we couldn’t have been happier with our Wicked Campers experience. What better way to explore an entire country than to sleep in a mobile hotel room? Better yet, Wicked Campers is now well-represented in Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand, North America, Africa, South America, Japan and you can check camper availabilities here: https://goo.gl/7UCQd6
