If this beautifully well-preserved “castle-city” seems straight out of some well-produced TV series, it’s because it is.. Dubrovnik is actually “King’s Landing” from the blockbuster hit show, “Game of Thrones,” and the location scouts absolutely nailed their choice. Surrounded by walls that seem to jut right out of the deep blue Adriatic Sea, the Old City of Dubrovnik is filled to the brim with orange-tiled buildings, with 13-century palace and church towers above, and narrow, stone passages winding through below. A place like none we’ve seen elsewhere, a scene that truly must be seen for yourself.
